Quarterly Yearnings
Today marks one full quarter of weekly newsletters/columns/blogs.
I don’t have a great elevator pitch for this project yet, so I’m curious how you, the actual reader, would describe it to a pal.
One of my earliest subscribers said “I’d pay five dollars NOT to read the fucking thing haha,” so the bar is low. (I think we were doing a male-bonding thing.)
What’s your favorite post of mine you’ve read? Flour for Algernon is my vote for best so far, but I’d trust your guys’ opinion on that more than my own.
Thank you and godspeed in all your weekend endeavors.
SEE YOU NEXT FRIDAY, DEAR FRIENDS.

Here’s what I love about Available for Parties. It’s a Venn diagram (in narrative form) of a Pollock painting and a Rorschach inkblot. The Pollack aspect: a smattering of culture, frenetic, idiosyncratic, lightly curated. The Rorschach aspect: a smattering of Alex Howe psyche and experience. The Venn aspect: how you narrated overlaps between the two, 🧚♂️✨This Time. It’s a treat that only you can deliver. And it’s an antidote to many Feeds that have been heavily curated for wrong reasons.
